Michelle Eisen

Growing up in a musical family, Michelle began playing the piano by ear and singing at a young age. Throughout school, she was always involved in whatever choirs and bands she could find. During this time, she also picked up flute, saxophone, and even a bit of trumpet! She has always loved performing, and has performed cultural, classical, jazz, and musical theater throughout the GTA. Michelle has always had a passion for music and education. Through Leading Notes, she hopes to inspire children while sharing her love of music and learning.

Erica Ellis



guitar, vocals

Erica has always had a passion for singing ever since she was a child. She studied piano with the Royal Conservatory and has recently taught herself guitar. She was always involved in choirs throughout elementary school, high school and with the Ottawa University choir. Since she was young, she has performed and sang solos at the Swedish, Finnish and French Ambassadors annually as well as at various other cultural events. Erica is eager to share both her love for music and education through performing for children with the Leading Notes.


Alex Morley


banjo, guitar, concertina, vocals

Alex is an avid community musician and he can often be found playing the concertina on his front porch and the banjo in kindergarten classrooms. Alex loves music and really enjoys sharing it with everyone- from the young'uns in the park to his beloved grandparents in their home. He believes that learning music should be a fun and enjoyable process fostered through sharing, laughter and good times. Alex hopes to inspire a love of music in everyone he encounters- especially his students!
